Applying data filters

Data filters can be used to view or analyze a subset of a table’s rows. To apply data filters:

  1. Click the Filter Data button in the toolbar to reveal the filters pane
  2. Using the pop-up buttons, choose the column or columns to filter by
  3. Select the values of interest in the tables beneath each pop-up button

You can hide the filters pane by clicking the Filter Data button a second time. By default, the filters are not applied when the filters pane is hidden; however, you can always keep the filters applied (even when they are hidden) by clicking the Pin button on the right side of the filter pane, or by choosing View > Apply Filters When Hidden.
