In a proportional hazards model, if the outcome values exist in two different columns, it can be useful to define a default column. If a value is missing from the outcome variable, the corresponding value from the default column will be used instead.
To define default outcome values:
If values from the default column should be treated as censored (for example, if the outcome contains failure times, and the default column contains total observation times), then additionally check the box labeled Default is censored.
