Adding a column to a pivot

The controls below the pivot table can be used to manage columns in a particular pivot. To add a column to a pivot:

  1. In the Pivot view, check one of the boxes below the pivot table labeled "Pivot column 1", "Pivot column 2", etc.
  2. Select a column for the pivot using the pop-up button

Numeric and date columns can be further configured by clicking the Configure button next to the pop-up button. Note that non-category text columns cannot be used as pivot columns.
