Viewing a histogram of a numeric column

Histograms provide a compact visual summary of a numeric column’s distribution. To view a histogram of a numeric column:

1. In the Summary view, select the numeric column whose histogram you wish to view
2. The histogram will appear in the column summary view on the right

The width of bins in the histogram can be configured using the Width control below the column summary view.

If a pie chart appears instead of a histogram, you should first ensure that the data is not being treated as categories. (Column > Treat Column Data As > …)
