Viewing a column’s summary statistics

Summary statistics can be viewed in the Summary view by control-clicking the header of the summary table and selecting statistics of interest.

Available sample statistics include:

• Mean (or proportion)
• Confidence interval around the mean (or proportion)
• Standard deviation
• Minimum
• Lower quartile (25th percentile)
• Median
• Upper quartile (75th percentile)
• Maximum

The summary statistics are available for both category columns and numeric non-category columns (except for standard deviation, which is available only for numeric non-category columns). The confidence interval is computed using the current confidence level as indicated by the Confidence slider.
